Welcome to CJ Aquatic Sydney. By accessing our website and purchasing from us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through CJ Aquatic Sydney.

By using our website, you agree to comply with these terms, our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy.

CJ Aquatic Sydney reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Products & Livestock

​

We specialise in live ornamental fish, aquatic plants and related products.

As livestock are living organisms:

• Size, colour and patterns may vary
• Photos are representative only
• Minor natural differences are not considered defects

We take all reasonable care to ensure livestock is healthy and accurately described at the time of dispatch.

3. Orders

​

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation.

We reserve the right to:

• Refuse or cancel orders
• Limit quantities
• Correct pricing or listing errors

If an order is cancelled, you will be notified and refunded where applicable.

4. Pricing

​

All prices are listed in AUD (Australian Dollars).

Prices may change at any time without notice.

Shipping fees are calculated separately at checkout.

5. Shipping

​

We ship within Australia only.

Due to state biosecurity regulations, we do not ship to NT or TAS.

Live fish and plants are shipped via Express Post only.
Shipping times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays or weather conditions.

CJ Aquatic Sydney is not responsible for delays once parcels are with the courier.

6. Live Arrival Guarantee (DOA)

We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee for livestock orders, subject to the conditions outlined in our DOA/Refund Policy.

Claims must follow the required timeframes and evidence guidelines.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

7. Returns & Refunds

​

Due to the perishable nature of live livestock:

• No change-of-mind returns
• No returns once livestock has been opened or acclimated

Dry goods may be returned only if unused and in original condition.

8. Customer Responsibilities

​

Customers agree to:

• Provide accurate shipping information
• Ensure someone is available to receive deliveries
• Acclimate livestock properly upon arrival
• Follow appropriate care practices

We are not responsible for losses due to incorrect addresses, missed deliveries, or improper care after delivery.

You agree not to:

• Use our website for unlawful purposes
• Copy or misuse content or images
• Interfere with website functionality

All content, images and branding remain the property of CJ Aquatic Sydney.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, CJ Aquatic Sydney is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses
• Losses caused by courier delays
• Losses after livestock has been delivered and accepted

Our liability is limited to the value of the products purchased.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
