Refund Policy

CJ Aquatic Sydney

At CJ Aquatic Sydney, we take great care in preparing and packing every order to ensure your livestock and plants arrive healthy and in excellent condition. Due to the nature of live aquatic livestock, our refund policy is outlined below.

Live Fish & Plants
Important Notice
  • All photos are for reference only.

  • Colour, size, pattern, and fin shape may vary due to genetics, age, lighting, stress, water parameters, and environment.

  • Minor differences are normal and do not constitute “item not as described”.

Because fish and plants are perishable live goods, we do not accept returns or refunds or replacements for:

  • Change of mind

  • Colour, size, or pattern differences

  • Personal preference or expectations

  • Stress-related colour loss after arrival

However, we provide a Live Arrival Guarantee for your peace of mind.

Dead on Arrival (DOA)

In the rare event that livestock arrives deceased, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery with:

• Clear photos of the unopened bag
• Clear photos of the livestock inside the bag
• Your order number

Once approved, we will offer:
✔ Replacement livestock, or
✔ Store credit (excluding shipping fees)

Claims submitted outside the timeframe may not be eligible.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.


Once an order has been packed or shipped, cancellations or refunds are not available due to the perishable nature of livestock.

Payment & Disputes
  • By completing a purchase, the buyer agrees to this policy.

  • Payment disputes based on appearance or quality preferences will be contested with supporting evidence.
